New Swiss daily “.ch” launched without a hitch

Swiss German speakers woke up today to a new daily newspaper: the first edition of the free paper “.ch” appeared today at 6 am – exactly as planned. Its five regional versions – in Zurich, Bern, Basel, Lucerne and St Gallen – make up a total circulation of 425,000 copies in four different tabloid layouts, printed at four different locations around Switzerland.
